This Bachmann Silver Series(R) N Scale ACF 40′ Log Car is based on older wooden log cars from the 1900s. It’s available in a 1906 to 1935 variation and a 1935 to 1960 variation. The older version has stake pockets for the full length of the car and a load of large logs and the newer version has eight stake pockets per side and smaller logs to represent second-growth timber. Other features include realistic wood grain on the body and deck, truss rod detail and a vertical brakewheel. The ACF 40′ Log Car has a detailed injection-molded body, metal wheels and E-Z Mate(R) magnetic knuckle couplers. It’s perfect for use with other Bachmann N Scale old time-styled wood trains.
